CL3-EC Series EtherCAT Bus

CL3-EC series is our high-speed bus closed-loop stepper drive product based on more than ten years of closed-loop stepper development and integration of EtherCAT bus technology. It supports the CANopen over EtherCAT (COE) protocol, conforms to the CiA402 standard, and the bus transmission rate can reach 100Mb/s, which can realize the real-time control and real-time data transmission of the closed-loop stepper system, and has the advantages of high performance, high transmission speed, and high reliability communication. The CL3-EC series can drive 20/28/42/57/60/86 closed-loop stepper motors. For multi-axis closed-loop applications, the efficient, stable and mature EtherCAT industrial bus solution can bring customers significant optimization of space, cost and system complexity.

Closed-loop control technology, no step loss during operation

The use of encoder as position feedback gives the stepper motor a servo closed-loop characteristic, which can compensate for position deviation in real time and fundamentally solve the problem of lost steps in traditional stepper motors.


A new generation of closed-loop control algorithm to achieve high speed and high torque of closed-loop stepping

Using EtherCAT bus technology and combining the latest closed-loop control algorithm, compared with the traditional open-loop stepper drive, the maximum speed can reach 2500rpm and the effective torque is increased by more than 30%.


Reduce motor vibration noise, and make the motor run more smoothly

Variable current control technology is used to reduce low-speed vibration noise and achieve smooth operation of the stepper motor.


The motor heats up less

Compared with ordinary open-loop drive systems where the motor uses a fixed current operation mode, the CL3-EC closed-loop control system will adjust the motor current in real time according to the load and speed conditions to further reduce motor heating.

No debugging required

Traditional servo systems require tedious manual gain adjustment after installation. The CL3-EC series closed-loop stepper adopts the advantages of stepper motor closed-loop control algorithm, reducing the steps required to adjust the gain of the closed-loop system.
